  • 2 large Eggs or flax eggs
  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour or gluten-free flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder or 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt omit if using salted butter
  • 1 cup Caramel Sauce homemade or store-bought
  • 1 cup Chocolate Chips milk, dark, or white chocolate

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, cream the unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition until fully incorporated.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt; then gradually combine with the wet ingredients.
  5. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the baking sheet and create indents in the center.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are lightly golden; cool slightly on the baking sheet before proceeding.
  7. Heat the caramel sauce until warm and pourable, then spoon it into the indents of the cooled cookies.
  8. Melt the chocolate chips and drizzle them over the caramel-filled cookies, then let them set before serving.

Notes

Ensure cookies are slightly cooled before adding caramel to prevent it from melting too much. Allow chocolate to fully set for best results.
