Chicken Thighs
  • 8 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
Sauce
  • 1/2 cup low‑sodium soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Equipment

  • Slow Cooker

Method

  1. Season the chicken thighs with salt and black pepper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together soy sauce, ketchup, honey, and minced garlic until well combined.
  3. Place the seasoned chicken thighs in the slow cooker in a single layer.
  4. Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken thighs, making sure they are coated evenly.
  5. Cover the slow cooker and cook on Low for 4 hours or on High for 2–3 hours until the chicken is tender and fully cooked through.
  6. Once done, serve the chicken over rice or with vegetables, spooning sauce over the top.

Notes

For extra flavor, brown the chicken thighs in a skillet before adding to the slow cooker. Serve with steamed rice, mashed potatoes, or vegetables.
