  • Half a large or 1 small very ripe banana
  • 1 cup milk (or dairy substitute)
  • 2 cups fresh baby spinach

Prep Your Ingredients
  1. First, prepare your spinach using the signature technique. Combine 2 cups of fresh baby spinach with about 1/4 cup of water or milk in a blender. Blend until smooth, then pour into an ice cube tray and freeze until solid. If using a frozen banana, peel, slice, and freeze your ripe banana until solid.
Load Your Blender
  1. Pour 1 cup of milk (or dairy substitute) into your blender. Add your frozen banana slices (or fresh ripe banana), followed by the pre-frozen spinach cubes (or fresh spinach if not using the freezing technique). If desired, add a few ice cubes last for extra chill.
Blend to Perfection
  1. Blend on low speed, then gradually increase to high. Continue blending for 30-60 seconds until the mixture is completely sweet, creamy, and smooth with no discernible spinach taste or green flecks. Scrape down the sides if needed. Enjoy immediately!
