Main Ingredients
  • 2 fillets Salmon (skin-on recommended) Fresh salmon is best; if using frozen, thaw completely.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Adjust to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper Freshly ground.
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika Optional.
For the Sauce
  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted Butter For sauce.
  • 3 cloves Garlic Minced.
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice Freshly squeezed.
  • 2 tablespoons Parsley Chopped.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels.
  2. Season both sides of the salmon with salt, black pepper, and paprika if using.
  3. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  4. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy.
  5. Carefully flip the salmon and cook for another 3-4 minutes or until cooked through.
  6. Remove the salmon and set aside.
Cooking the Sauce
  1. In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and garlic. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  2. Pour in lemon juice and let it bubble for 30 seconds.
  3. Return the salmon to the skillet and spoon the sauce over the top.
  4. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Serve with steamed vegetables, rice, or a salad. Drizzle extra garlic lemon butter sauce on top for added flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
