Preparation
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels.
- Season both sides of the salmon with salt, black pepper, and paprika if using.
- Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy.
- Carefully flip the salmon and cook for another 3-4 minutes or until cooked through.
- Remove the salmon and set aside.
Cooking the Sauce
- In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and garlic. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in lemon juice and let it bubble for 30 seconds.
- Return the salmon to the skillet and spoon the sauce over the top.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
Serve with steamed vegetables, rice, or a salad. Drizzle extra garlic lemon butter sauce on top for added flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
