  • 1 lb ground beef (80% lean)
  • 6 pieces crispy taco shells
  • 4 strips smoky bacon Crispy
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or American) Use your preferred type of cheese
  • 1/2 cup burger-style sauce Adjust according to taste
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Optional toppings
  • lettuce Shredded or leaves
  • tomato Diced
  • pickles Sliced
  • onions Sliced or diced

Method
 

Cooking
  1. Cook the bacon in a medium-high skillet until crispy. Remove and chop into pieces.
  2. In the same skillet, brown the ground beef, seasoning with salt and pepper until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add chopped bacon to the skillet with the beef, mixing well.
  4. Fill each taco shell with the beef-bacon mixture.
  5. Top with shredded cheese and drizzle with burger-style sauce.
  6. Add optional toppings if desired.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

Serve tacos immediately after making for the best taste. You can set them up as a taco bar for custom toppings. Store the taco filling in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days, keeping the shells separately.
