  • 1 lb 1 lb (450g) ground beef Can be substituted with ground turkey or chicken.
  • 1 small 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 packet 1 packet ranch seasoning mix Can be substituted with homemade ranch seasoning.
  • 1 cup 1 cup cream cheese Add more for creamier texture.
  • 1 cup 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Plus extra for serving.
  • 12 oz 12 oz large pasta shells
  • to taste Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat; drain the fat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic; cook until softened.
  3. In a crockpot, combine the browned beef mixture, ranch seasoning mix, cream cheese, and shredded cheddar cheese. Stir until well mixed.
  4. Cook on low for 4-6 hours or until everything is heated through and the cheeses are melted.
  5. Meanwhile, cook the pasta shells according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  6. Once the mixture in the crockpot is ready, gently stir in the cooked pasta shells.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste; serve warm.

Notes

Serve with a fresh green salad or garlic bread. For a special touch, sprinkle extra cheddar cheese or chopped fresh herbs on top.
