Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish.
- Unroll one can of crescent roll dough and press it into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
- In a mixing bowl, beat together the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Spread this cream cheese mixture over the crescent roll dough in the baking dish.
- Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough and place it over the cream cheese layer.
- Brush the melted butter over the top layer of dough. Mix 1/2 cup granulated sugar with the cinnamon and sprinkle this mixture evenly over the buttered dough.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the bars turn golden brown.
Serving
- Allow the bars to cool before slicing them into squares and serving.
Notes
Store any leftover Churro Cheesecake Bars in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For longer storage, freeze the bars wrapped in plastic wrap and then in aluminum foil for up to 3 months. Make sure to soften the cream cheese for easier mixing and don't skip the cinnamon-sugar topping for added flavor and crunch.
