Cheesy Chicken Garlic Bread

Ingredients
  

For the Garlic Butter
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • to taste Salt and pepper
For the Bread
  • 1 loaf crusty bread Slice lengthwise
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded Can use rotisserie chicken
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese Can substitute with other cheeses

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter with minced garlic, fresh parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Slice the loaf of crusty bread in half lengthwise and generously spread the garlic butter mixture on both halves.
  4. Layer the shredded chicken evenly on top of the buttered bread, followed by a generous sprinkle of mozzarella cheese.
Baking
  1. Place the prepared bread halves on a baking sheet and bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  2. Once out of the oven, allow the bread to cool for a minute. Slice into portions and serve.

Notes

Serve hot with a side salad or fresh vegetables. Pairs well with dipping sauces. Wrap leftovers in plastic wrap or an airtight container and store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven.
