Beef and broth
  • 1.5-2 lbs stew beef Cut into cubes
  • 2.5 cans beef broth Use low-sodium if preferred
  • 1 cup dry red wine Adjust according to taste
Vegetables
  • 4 pieces carrots Diced
  • 4 stems celery Diced
  • 0.5 pieces tomato Diced
  • 1 small onion Diced
  • 3-4 pieces red potatoes Sliced
  • 1 small can green peas Drained
  • 1 small can corn Drained
Seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • Salt and pepper To taste

Preparation
  1. Dice the celery and carrots into small cubes. Slice the potatoes into slivers and dice the onion and tomato.
Cooking
  1. During the last hour of cooking, add the drained cans of peas and corn.

Notes

Choose fresh vegetables for the best flavor. You can adjust the amount of beef or vegetables based on your preference and make it thicker by adding a bit of cornstarch mixed with water in the last hour of cooking.
